3rd Basketball Culture Festiva
On the occasion of the School Anniversary, we chase our dreams, chase the April breezes, and bask in the spring sunshine. In such a dynamic season, under the meticulous organization and planning of school leaders and physical education teachers, on the afternoon of April 28th, we observed the grand opening of the third Basketball Culture Festival of our school. In attendance were all students of Grade 8, Vice Principal Hu Qilin, Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng and other department leaders. The opening ceremony was presided over by teacher Dai Yan of the PE Group.
First and foremost, Vice Principal Hu Qilin addressed the opening ceremony, expressing that our school is a national basketball characteristic school, and basketball is not only a sport, but also a spirit. On the other hand, playing basketball can not only help us keep fit, but also temper our will in that we can enjoy the vigorous upward power of youth in sports! Finally, Vice Principal Hu Qilin expressed his expectations and wishes for the Basketball Culture Festival, after which athlete representative Zhao Yi and referee representative He Yalong took their oaths respectively. Meanwhile, the basketball players of each class took pictures in their uniforms on campus.
Specifically, with the referee's whistle, the exciting Women's Basketball Skill Challenge kicked off as the opening match of the Basketball Culture Festival. What's more, the basketball was spinning and flying in the hands of the players while the athletes' vigorous figures 'danced' between the ball and the rail. Therefore, flying basketballs, brilliant smiling faces, warm applause and harmonious atmosphere formed a wonderful picture, which became a beautiful landscape in the campus.
To sum up, we meet happiness in sports, and meet beauty in games. Thus, let's take this Basketball Culture Festival as an opportunity to fly with passion! More remarkably, the Basketball Culture Festival is also the best gift for all teachers and students to present to the May 18th School Anniversary!
